Samuel Cimino
I am a biologist with the US Geological Survey and the Pacific Northwest Aquatic Monitoring Partnership (PNAMP). I help maintain and develop a metadata repository tool set called MonitoringResources.org that aims to make environmental monitoring data and procedures FAIR (Findable, Accessible, Interoperable, Reusable) throughout the Pacific Northwest and the rest of the country.
I live in Portland, Oregon with my big, dumb, chocolate lab Dudley. I got my undergraduate degree at the University of Colorado (Go Buffs) and my MS at Portland State University. I support all of my Colorado sports teams but have grown to love the Portland Trailblazers over the last eight years. Speaking of supporting teams that only bring misery, I'm also a Tottenham Hotspur fan of the English Premier League. In my free time, I play soccer and train for marathons... when I'm not injured from playing soccer or training for marathons.
If none of those topics in my biography interest you, we can talk about how it's raining today as I'm sure it will be.
