Gateways 2020 is scheduled from October 12 to October 23, with the tutorial and workshop track during the first week and the main conference track during the second week. This fifth Gateways annual conference is an opportunity for gateway creators and enthusiasts to learn, share, connect, and shape the future of gateways, while supporting and growing our community. Presentation Abstract: Since 2004, the Pacific Northwest Aquatic Monitoring Partnership (PNAMP) has facilitated collaboration to promote best practices for monitoring; encourage coordination and integration of monitoring activities; and support documentation and data publishing. These activities are directed at improving quality of information as well as access to information for decision making. These are big challenges for sure but with many colleagues from state, tribal, federal, academic, private sector and NGOs working together, a lot has been accomplishedCurrently, PNAMP facilitates a network of Intensively Monitored Watersheds (IMWs) across the Northwestco-leads the Coordinated Assessments Partnership (CAP) with StreamNet to support publishing of fish data and metadatasupports multiple tasks via the Fish Monitoring Work Group (FMWG) to support methods and data sharinghelps practitioners stay abreast of the rapidly evolving field of remote sensing via the Remote Sensing Forumfacilitates development of data standards to share stream habitat metric-level data; and hosts MonitoringResources.org, a free tool to document protocols, methods and sampling designs for monitoring and research projects.  We invite everyone interested in collaboration to join us!
